Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using EngrAssist Tools operated by Shultz Solutions LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or at least 13 years old with verifiable parental or guardian consent, to use this App.

2. Description of Service

EngrAssist Tools provides engineering reference calculators and design-aid tools for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general engineering disciplines. The App is intended to support qualified professionals in their work; it is not itself a licensed engineering service.

3. Professional Engineering Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: EngrAssist Tools outputs are design aids only.

All calculations, results, and recommendations produced by the App must be independently reviewed, verified, and approved by a licensed design professional (engineer, architect, or equivalent) and, where applicable, the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) before being used in any design, specification, procurement, construction, or safety-related decision.

Shultz Solutions LLC makes no representation that App outputs comply with any specific local code, standard, or regulation. Code requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time. It is the responsibility of the user to verify compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its underlying algorithms.
• Do not use the App’s outputs to provide unlicensed professional engineering services where licensure is legally required.
• Do not reproduce or distribute App content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• Do not attempt to extract, scrape, or systematically collect data from the App by automated means.
• Do not use the App in any manner that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, tool logic, user interface designs, branding, and content within EngrAssist Tools are owned by or licensed to Shultz Solutions LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal or professional reference purposes only. You retain full ownership of any numerical inputs you enter into the App.

6. Subscriptions and Paid Features

EngrAssist Tools offers a free tier and an optional “Pro” subscription. Pro is available on a monthly or annual recurring basis. Pricing, billing period, and any introductory free trial are clearly disclosed on the in-app purchase screen before you confirm.

• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the App alone does not cancel the subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ENGRASSIST TOOLS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF CALCULATIONS, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHULTZ SOLUTIONS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELIANCE ON ANY CALCULATION OUTPUT FOR ENGINEERING OR SAFETY DECISIONS.

In jurisdictions that do not permit the exclusion of certain damages, our liability is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) US $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shultz Solutions LLC and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Except for claims that qualify for small-claims court, any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. YOU AND SHULTZ SOLUTIONS LLC WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after updated Terms are in effect constitutes acceptance.
